The Brief -

Thermo Fisher operates numerous facilities worldwide, and the energy consumption of these facilities was substantial. To minimise their environmental footprint and optimise operational costs, they set out to find an energy-efficient lighting solution that could deliver significant savings.

Their existing lighting system operated through a Zigbee network, integrated through their own IT system. This lighting system used Low Energy Designs LED lighting products that were installed over 10 years ago. Seeking independence from this setup, Thermo Fisher desired a new lighting system where all lights could be controlled without using a Zigbee connection.
