The Brief -
Spetisbury CofE Primary School, dedicated to sustainability and energy efficiency, recently undertook a transformative project aimed at upgrading the lighting system in the Year 3 Beech Class. The primary goals were to enhance the learning environment, reduce energy consumption, and contribute to the school's eco-friendly initiatives.
Previously, the Year 3 Beech Class relied on traditional fluorescent lighting, which not only consumed a substantial amount of energy but also added to the school's operational costs. In response, the school initiated a comprehensive lighting project, replacing the outdated fluorescent lights with Low Energy Designs, energy-efficient LED fixtures.
The Solution -
The installation process was carefully integrated into the school's schedule to minimise disruptions to teaching and learning activities.
